KIVA is looking for a senior architectural technician, specialized in building envelope and/or interior design, to join its team where rigor, creativity and teamwork are valued.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a level of service with customers and partners;
• Execute surveys and draw them up;
• Assist the architecture and design teams in the development of construction details;
• Develop final plans and project specifications;
• Work closely with project managers and associates;
• Manage several files at the same time, at different stages of progress;
• Produce working drawings and details of envelope and cabinetwork;
• Project manager and site supervision.

The successful candidate must:

• 10 years of experience in architecture;
• DEC in architecture technique;
• Excellent knowledge of construction techniques;
• Experience in interior design (asset);
• Site experience (of various sizes) and construction techniques;
• Good knowledge of the National Building Code, the National Fire Protection Code and the National Energy Code for buildings;
• Mastery of software (Autocad, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp (asset), Revit (asset));
• Excellent command of the French language (A functional level in English is required).
