Senior Architectural Technologist

KIVA is looking for a senior architectural technician, specialized in building envelope and/or interior design, to join its team where rigor, creativity and teamwork are valued.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Maintain a level of service with customers and partners;
Execute surveys and draw them up;
Assist the architecture and design teams in the development of construction details;
Develop final plans and project specifications;
Work closely with project managers and associates;
Manage several files at the same time, at different stages of progress;
Produce working drawings and details of envelope and cabinetwork;
Project manager and site supervision.

The successful candidate must:

10 years of experience in architecture;
DEC in architecture technique;
Excellent knowledge of construction techniques;
Experience in interior design (asset);
Site experience (of various sizes) and construction techniques;
Good knowledge of the National Building Code, the National Fire Protection Code and the National Energy Code for buildings;
Mastery of software (Autocad, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp (asset), Revit (asset));
Excellent command of the French language (A functional level in English is required).
